What is Pupil Premium funding?
Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the Government for looked after children and those from low income families. The purpose of the additional funding is to address the underlying inequalities between disadvantaged pupils and their peers. It exists to help schools narrow the attainment gap that exists between pupils from disadvantaged and more affluent backgrounds.
The funding is applied for by parents and if eligible the school will be given the additional funding.
To find out if you are eligible and how you can apply please click HERE or call Warwickshire County Council on 01927 742543.
Please read the report below to see how we spend the money allocated to us and the impact that the additional funding has on improving outcomes for disadvantaged pupils.
The next review of the pupil premium strategy will be on 1st October 2024.
