Year 4 visited Kenilworth Castle yesterday for their "Big Green Day." The children took part in a range of activities such as, learning from Beekeepers, honey tasting, arts and crafts, a nature trail and a trip to the aviary to see the birds. They had a lovely time in the sun, learning all about the environment and the natural world. 🐝🪴

This morning Year 6 were learning about the work of Derrick O. Boateng. He is a Ghanaian artist who takes striking photos using his iPhone. Inspired by his work the children then composed images for an album cover to mark their departure from primary school. Check out these images. You'll notice one image includes a broken pencil with a wet paper towel on...the children explained that this symbolises the fact that teachers suggest a wet paper towel for all occasions!

This morning, our Year 3 children and members of the parish received their First Holy Communion in a beautiful and prayerful mass.
We are so proud of them as they reached this important milestone in their faith journey, supported by their families and the St Augustine’s School community. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special.

A huge well done to all of our Year 3–6 children who represented the school at the KDPSA Athletics Event this morning on the Edmonscote Track!
Despite a mix of rain and sunshine (what a wild ride the weather gave us today!) the children showed great determination, enthusiasm and sportsmanship as they ran, jumped and threw their way through the morning.
Thank you to the parents and families who came along to support and cheer them on.
We’ll be sharing the results soon and will contact families directly if any children have qualified to represent Kenilworth at the central event later this month.
