We hope you’ve all had a lovely summer and are ready for another fantastic school year! 💙💛 We’re so excited to welcome our children in Years 1-6 back to school at 8:40am on Thursday! New Reception starters: Please follow your phased transition as outlined in your induction letter. We can’t wait to welcome our newest children to school! 🥰 A little email update: As we are now part of St Raphael CMAT, rather than Our Lady of the Magnificat Multi Academy Trust, we all have new email addresses, including the school office. office@staugustines-kenilworth.straphaelcmat.co.uk For now, all of our old email addresses are still active, and any messages sent to them will be forwarded to our new inboxes, so we won’t miss anything. We’ll share our new email addresses with you at our Meet the Teacher sessions during the week commencing 7th September. In the meantime, please check your own junk/spam folders. We’ve already sent an email from the office about clubs using our new email address. It sounds like this email has ended up in junk for a few parents.

Our children and families may be enjoying the first Monday of the holidays, but St Augustine’s is still very busy. The KS2 toilet refurb has begun (thank you Our Lady of The Magnificat Multi-Academy) and we have cleared out so many cupboards we’ve filled one skip! We can’t wait to share further updates with you all

Our Mini Vinnies (not all pictured here) have been making and selling bracelets to raise funds to support the parish SVP summer picnic packs for those in need. The children handed over their profits to Mrs Gordon, who is excited to put the donation to good use

🥇We are a “Safe and Active School” 🥇 Earlier this month we were delighted to hear that we have been awarded the Gold Safe and Active School award. Unfortunately we were unable to attend the award ceremony at Shire Hall, but a representative delivered the award yesterday and Year 6 received it on the whole school’s behalf.

This half term, students from across the soon to be St Raphael the Archangel CMAT have explored St Raphael and created artwork inspired by him. Together, over 500 individual pieces have been combined into one beautiful mosaic, symbolising the collaboration and shared vision of our growing family of schools. From September 2026, our CMAT will bring together 29 schools, which is then expanding to 67 schools in September 2027. We look forward to this exciting new chapter together and further collaboration.

⚽️Football has already come home at St Augustine’s. This year was a first and we achieved ‘The double’ winning our individual Leamington league with our Year 5/6 team and the local Kenilworth league with Year 5. Well done teams! ⚽️
