With the summer holiday just around the corner, we had lots of volunteers to care for the lovely Speedy over the break. It’s a little too warm for poor Speedy to decide, so this time we used a spin the wheel to decide where she would spend her well earned rest. Congratulations to the lucky family for the first half of the holiday….

A bit of lunchtime excitement today. 8 baby ducks and their mother fell from a tree and landed on our school field. There was great interest from the children (and staff!). We called the 4th emergency service aka Will from The Burrows and now all ducks have been rehomed in forest school

This week's Pupil Prepared Prayer looked a little different in Year 2. As part of our learning about the oceans, the children have been exploring how we can care for God's creation and the important role we all play as stewards of the Earth.
They chose to centre their Celebration of the Word on our responsibility to protect the world's oceans and all the wonderful life within them. Together, the children created a beautiful collaborative piece of artwork as a reminder of God's amazing creation and of our shared responsibility to care for it with love, respect and gratitude.
We are so proud of the thoughtful reflections and enthusiasm the children showed as they put their faith into action.

At this morning‘s 10:30 parish mass there was lots of collaboration evident. First our children led the liturgy and then at the end of mass prayer cards were distributed featuring the artwork of two of our talented pupils. We are truly blessed to be part of such a vibrant parish community
