Happy International Women’s Day to our wonderful St Augustine’s School community! 🌸
Today we celebrate the incredible girls in our school who bring curiosity, kindness, creativity and determination into our classrooms every day. You inspire us with your ideas, your courage and your willingness to learn and grow.
We also want to thank the amazing women who guide and support them. Thank you to our staff team who help shape bright futures with patience, wisdom and care. Your dedication makes such a difference in the lives of our pupils.
And of course, we recognise the mothers, grandmothers, sisters, carers and all the inspiring women at home who nurture, encourage and believe in our children every day.
Together, you help create a community where every girl can feel confident, valued and empowered to achieve her dreams.

A HUGE thank you to our awesome PTFA for tonight's neon disco. The children had an absolute blast and we raised lots of money for our new computers too (exact total still tbc). There were so many volunteers, who were all busy DJing, making drinks, painting faces and giving out glitter tattoos. We only managed to get a photo of our two lovely co-chairs, but thank you to the whole team

Thank you to our wonderful families who are counting their steps, sending us updates and most importantly raising valuable funds for Father Hudson‘s along the way too.
The staff are now getting a little competitive too. The week’s winner of the staff competition, to see who can track the most kms, was Mrs Hartrick. The big question is, who will knock her off the top spot next week?

World book day is next week! This year children have been asked to come into school as a word! Children will spend the day being authors, writing their own books. Parents will have the opportunity to come and look at the stories the children have created at the end of the day. We look forward to spending the day immersed in amazing vocabulary!
